All Holiday Packages offered by Alternative Travel & Rainbow Cruises exclude the cost of Airline Tickets and Airport Taxes.

The best possible airfare will be sourced for you at the time of booking one of these packages.

Airline Ticket costs are subject to the date of departure, length of stay and ‘specials' on offer by the various airlines.

Airport Taxes are subject to currency fluctuations and only applicable on the day that the ticket is issued.

This Alternative programme is a basic package, been put together to offer you flexability and a million options – in Thailand you need time to explore and have fun!

SHOPPING is the main activity during a trip to Bangkok. Phuket is more relaxed and offers excellent beaches, sightseeing and a more leisurely shopping experience.

Optional sightseeing tours are available – list will be provided – for you to choose what you want to see when you have time.

• Return airfare on Singapore Airlines for the routing: Johannesburg / Singapore / Bangkok – and - Phuket / Singapore / Johannesburg.
• One way airfare for the routing Bangkok to Phuket on Asia Air.
• Return airport / hotel transfers in Bangkok & Phuket with an English speaking guide, bottle water & cold towel.
• 3 Nights accommodation at the Tarntawan Hotel on a bed & breakfast basis.
• 4 Nights accommodation at the Club One Seven Hotel in Phuket on a bed & breakfast basis.

Food is very inexpensive in Thailand – readily available, delicious and of a high quality – information on where to eat will be provided by the tour leader.

Budget for about R35 for lunch and R70 for dinner – a basic but filling meal.

•  Package excludes:

• All items of a personal nature such as telephone calls, laundry, etc
• All meals and drinks not mentioned above.
• Airport departure taxes in South Africa, Singapore & Thailand. The taxes are subject to currency fluctuations and will be confirmed once the tickets are issued. Currently + R 2 500 per person.
